Founder & President
Keith McConkey brings the same discipline and commitment to financial planning that has defined his career both inside and outside the office.
As founder of Nexus Financial Strategies, Keith brings decades of experience to a small, select group of clients who value real advice over generic solutions. He holds the Certified Financial Planner® designation, is a Responsible Investment Specialist, and is a member of the Canadian Association of Farm Advisors, giving him a strong understanding of the unique challenges facing farm families and agricultural business owners.
A best-selling author and recognized speaker, Keith has been featured in My Business Magazine for his ability to make complex financial strategies simple and actionable.
Away from the office, Keith is an high level baseball umpire with six years of professional experience, and six international championships to his name. He now trains the next generation of officials as a Master Course Conductor.
Keith lives in Welland, Ontario with his wife and two daughters, and is a proud dance dad.

Declan Rose serves as an Associate Financial Advisor at Nexus Financial Strategies, where he is actively transitioning into more of an advisory role. His responsibilities include supporting comprehensive financial planning and direct management of client relationships.
Declan holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and is investment licensed. He has completed the Canadian Securities Course, a key milestone toward earning the Certified Financial Planner® designation. This advanced training reflects his commitment to delivering informed, strategic advice and positioning himself as a trusted resource for clients.
Originally from Norfolk County and now based in Welland, Declan brings a strong work ethic and a passion for continuous learning to his role. His professional development ensures that clients benefit from both technical expertise and a forward-thinking approach to wealth management.

With over 27 years of experience as a Legal and Administrative Assistant, Tanya brings a wealth of knowledge in legal documentation, office management, and client service. Her reputation for precision, professionalism, and unwavering reliability makes her a natural fit for our fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
Tanya’s exceptional organizational skills and calm, supportive presence help ensure everything behind the scenes runs smoothly — allowing the rest of our team to focus on financial planning for our clients. Beyond the office, Tanya enjoys quality time with her family, which she credits as her source of balance and motivation.
